Seed phrase notebook habits worth keeping
A Portfolio Notebook is not automatically the right place to store full seed material. Many households keep seeds in sealed media and use the notebook for indexes, policies, and device metadata. Whatever you choose, habits matter more than stationery brand.
Separate policy ink from secret ink
Write rules (“who may open envelope A”) in the notebook. Keep secrets in the medium your threat model allows. Mixing both on one page is a common failure we see in intake interviews.
Photograph only what policy allows
Cohort peer review at Nodeapi Hub uses redacted photos. If your policy bans imaging seed pages, do not improvise for a classroom assignment — submit a metadata leaf instead.
Retire paper deliberately
